Design + Process
While busy editing Anien Bell's images (after having photographed almost all their interior projects and awaiting information on their company history to continue web design) I began looking at them as if they were material objects, not photos. What could they be? Pieces of furniture or colours of paint or works of art? What kind of space would they best furnish? Kind of a silly question, because I wasn't tasked to reinvent Anien Bell's perception of reality in her work (I mean, hey, let's get this ball rolling whoever's keen) but it did bring me to a space devoid of clutter; looking at these images again, I realised what was needed. Working closely with Anien, I designed a simple, straightforward online space that her work would furnish. The content, in a sense, came from both of us, and provided a context quite ready for expansion.
